WHAT IS BEST BODY BOOTCAMP?

Best Body Bootcamp is a 4 week goal-oriented, fitness program geared to help you achieve your best body. Our program is for people who are looking for a serious change in their workout routines or for those who need a jump start to their fitness program.

Best Body Bootcamp is outdoors in the spring and summer months, getting you out of the gym and enjoying Toronto's natural parks! Once the cold weather hits, in the fall and winter months, we move indoors.

Our workouts combine cardio intervals (sprints, stairs, sports drills, obstacle courses, plyometrics, kick boxing), resistance training (using resistance bands and body weight exercises), abdominal exercises and core and stability training (Yoga & Pilates based exercises) into fun and effective workouts.

We also divide up muscle groups, so that you are effectively challenging different muscles during every class.

WHAT IS OUR WORKOUT PHILOSOPHY?

Best Body Bootcamp believes in functional training, which means concentrating on exercises that will not only help you build strength, but also stability.

Many gyms and personal training programs concentrate on the use of machines. However, unlike the human body, machines are created to be stable and move in one plane of motion, only focusing on the concentric (force generating) part of movement. We move in 3 planes, and live in an unstable environment, therefore we need to be able to stabilize in order to produce or reduce movement during everyday life activities. Our dynamic workouts take into account this principle and are designed around the concept of functional training.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Although we have ‘boot camp’ in our name, don’t worry, we’re not an army style bootcamp - we don’t yell or ridicule! At Best Body Bootcamp members are encouraged, motivated and educated.

You will experience fun and innovative workouts that will keep you challenged and ensure that you’re never bored. Since variety is key to achieving results, each and every workout is different. You will work hard and see real results!

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Men & Women of all fitness levels are welcome to join the Best Body Bootcamp. We are here to support you and to ensure that everyone feels they are part of the team. Our initial assessment will allow us to gauge your fitness level and customize your exercise program to ensure each and every workout is challenging and safe. The instructors will show variations of most of the exercises to make sure that you are always pushing yourself, but within your own level of fitness. As the program progresses and you build strength you may find that you are able to move on to more difficult variations, level of intensity and reps.

Members are encouraged to listen to their bodies and work at their personal level and pace, allowing even members with minor injuries to participate.

WHAT KIND OF RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?

Get ready to achieve your best body! The results you see depend on your commitment to the program; your attendance, how hard you push yourself and your diet. Of course, the longer you continue with us the more results you will see. Common results achieved through the program are:

WHEN DO WE MEET?

We meet 3 times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, for 4 weeks. Each class is 1 hour in length.

WHAT IS THE COST?

The cost per 4 week Best Body Bootcamp session is $225 for new members and $199 for returning members. This includes a free initial fitness assessment, the Best Body Bootcamp “Total Body Transformation Manual E-Book” and a t-shirt (new members only).

Spouses/Friends registering together for the same class get $25 off each.

We also offer 3 month, 6 month, & 12-month memberships.
3 months - $540 (monthly installments of $180)
6 months - $1020 (monthly installments of $170)
12 months - $1800 (monthly installments of $150)

• For all multiple month memberships you will be automatically added to the next session, until your membership expires. If you wish to use the months non-consecutively you must notify us before the start of the next session.
• Packages are not eligible for the Spouse/Friend discount or class credits.
• Monthly fees cannot be adjusted towards a Multiple Bootcamp Discount.

WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE ASSESSMENT?

You will be measured so that you can track where you have lost inches and gained muscle.

You will be put through a fit test, made up of several timed exercises, which you will record so you have a tangible measure of your improvement by the end of the four weeks.

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

All you need is a resistance band (med-resistance w/handles) and a yoga mat. You can purchase both of these on our website and you will receive it on the 1st day of the session.

Please also wear a good pair of running shoes or cross trainers and dress in comfortable workout clothing.

Since diet plays a tremendous role in the type of results you see and also in achieving optimal health we provide you with the Best Body Bootcamp “Total Body Transformation Manual”.
