ABOUT THE BOOTCAMPS

Where are your bootcamps?

We have over 40 different Bootcamp locations across Ontario. Check out our locations page or just enter your Postal Code in the box provided to find the Bootcamp closest to you!.

How long is each Bootcamp Session?

Each Bootcamp session runs 4 Weeks (3 days/week = 12 classes)

What days are your bootcamps?

Our bootcamps run Monday, Wednesday & Friday unless otherwise noted.

What times are your bootcamps?

Each location runs a 6AM and a 6:30PM class. Some locations will run additional timeslots based on demand. (7AM & 7:30PM) Check the location closest to you for times.

How long are the classes?

Each class is 1 hour.

Do you only run bootcamps during the summer?

Best Body Bootcamp runs year round! From late April to early October we are outside in the parks. From late fall – to early spring we run our camps indoors!

PAYMENT OPTIONS

How much does it cost?

* New Member $225 * New Member with a friend/spouse $200 * Returning Member $199

Do you have any packages?

* We offer 2 multi-session packages o 3-sessions $180/per session o 6-sessions $170/per session

Do you have any drop-in classes?

There are no drop in classes. All participants must be registered for the class in order to participate. If you wish to do a trial class, they are available, space permitting (1 class is $20) Just call us at the office in advance to arrange it.

What if I can’t do the full 4 week/12 class session?

If you wish to join for any number of classes less than 12, the monthly package price will no longer apply. Each class will be charged at a per-class rate of $20 and is subject to availability. (Members signing up for the full month will be given priority).

How do I pay for my Bootcamp?

You can book online using Visa or Mastercard.

What if I don’t have a credit card?

You can make arrangements to pay Certified Cheque, Money Order or cash. All payments must be received at Best Body Bootcamp HQ by the Wednesday before the start date of the session in order to secure your spot in the class.

Can I just pay the instructor at the first class?

As a safety precaution, none of our trainers carry money, nor are they permitted to accept payments on site. All payments must be arranged via the office in advance.

OUR TRAINERS

What are the qualifications of the trainers?

Our instructors are all certified as personal trainers, many with kinesiology degrees and extensive backgrounds in sports, nutrition and rehabilitation. They are also trained in CPR and First Aid.

Are the trainers mean?

Our instructors never ridicule - this is not a military style bootcamp! You will certainly be pushed and motivated, but to your own physical abilities.

Do I have to already be fit to join Best Body Bootcamp?

Men & Women of all fitness levels are welcome to join the Best Body Bootcamp. We are here to support you and to ensure that everyone feels they are part of the team. Our initial assessment will allow us to gauge your fitness level and customize your exercise program to ensure each and every workout is challenging and safe. The instructors will show variations of most of the exercises to make sure that you are always pushing yourself, but within your own level of fitness. As the program progresses and you build strength you may find that you are able to move on to more difficult variations and level of intensity. Members are encouraged to listen to their bodies and work at their personal level and pace, allowing even members with minor injuries to participate.

What kinds of people participate in Best Body Bootcamp?

All kinds of people attend, anyone from the beginner who has never worked out before to the advanced exerciser looking for variety, new level of challenge and excitement in their workouts.

Is Best Body Bootcamp for women only?

While the majority of our bootcampers are women, we are a co-ed Bootcamp, and welcome men equally!.

Do you have an age limit?

Our minimum age for participation is 18 yrs.

GIMME ALL THE DETAILS!

What do I need to bring with me?

You will need a medium strength resistance band and a yoga mat, which you can purchase directly from us. You will also need to wear comfortable workout gear and appropriate running shoes. We strongly recommend that you bring a water bottle and a small towel.

What does the initial assessment include?

You will record your measurements so that you can track where you have lost inches and gained muscle. We have steered away from weight and body fat percentages because they are usually not true measure of your results and tend to discourage many people. We stress that numbers are not as important as your improved energy levels, strength, confidence and overall health are much more important! You will also be put through a fit test, made up of several timed exercises, which you will record so you have something tangible to measure your improvement by the end of the four weeks..

What is a typical day like at Best Body Bootcamp?

* Every day is different. So you never know what to expect and you never get bored of the same routine. Major muscle groups are divided up: one day of the week the main focus is legs, and on the other two days we divide up upper body muscles. Each day incorporates a cardiovascular component to get your heart rate up, as well as a focus on the core and abdominals. * Our workouts Think Outside the Gym of your typical and sometimes tedious routine. Each day is challenging in a different way, so come prepared to have fun and do some serious sweating!

Will I be sore sometimes?

Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It’s part of the process that lets you achieve your Best Body.

What kinds of results should I expect?

How soon will I see those results?

Results vary depending on your effort level, attendance and eating habits. Performance and endurance improvement can take place in as little as one week. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks. Remember, everyone is different.

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE WEATHER

What happens if it rains?

Best Body Bootcamp runs rain or shine! hot or cold! So please dress appropriately for the weather (waterproof outerwear, layers for warmth/cool, hat, gloves, etc…).

But what if it’s REALLY raining?

If the rain is extremely heavy, in conjunction with lightning which may threaten bodily harm, we will make the call to cancel class and set up an alternate make up class. This make-up class will most likely be held on the adjacent Tuesday or Thursday of that week.

How will I know if the class is cancelled??

The decision to cancel class will not happen until at least a half hour prior to the start of class, due to the unpredictability of the weather. You will be contacted by your instructor via email or phone with any changes or cancellations on the date of the session. Any cancellations will also be posted on our facebook page. GENERAL POLICIES

What if I miss a class?

* Unless arranged by Best Body Bootcamp, as in the case of a holiday or an issue with the facility, there are NO make up classes. Classes missed during a session cannot be carried over into another session. * If a member plans to miss any classes within a session, Best Body Bootcamp will provide a “Missed Class Credit”. ADVANCE NOTIFICATION (prior to the start date) is required in order to receive credit for a that missed class. Notifications must be made by emailing or calling the Best Body Bootcamp office, prior to your session start date. * Those participating via single classes are not eligible for credits, nor can unused classes be carried over to another session. * Each “Missed Class Credit” is the equivalent of $10, and can only be used towards the purchase of a full session. Missed class credits are non-transferrable and have no monetary value. In other words, unused credits cannot be cashed out or refunded in any way. * A Maximum of 3 credits per 4 week session will be recognized. o Exceptions to the Missed Classed Credit Policy: + Those on a partial, multi-month, or group discount, or participating in a session that already has credits applied, are not eligible for missed class credits

Can I make a change to the package I signed up for??

* If for any reason a change needs to be made to your order a $20 admin fee will apply. * Session transfers within 7 of the session start date will be subject to a $10 admin fee. * You cannot transfer a session forward once the session has begun. 7 day notice prior to the start date is required.

I signed up for a single session, can I switch to the multi-session now that I’ve done a couple of weeks?

Session fees cannot be adjusted retroactively towards a Multiple Bootcamp Discount once the session has started.

Can I skip a month of my multi month package and do it later?

You cannot push discounted Multi-Session Packaged forward. They must be used consecutively within their allotted time.

My schedule changed, and I can no longer commit to the multi-month package, what do I do?

If at any time you need to cancel a monthly membership you will be charged back the difference in cost, as well as a $50 cancellation fee. PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to cancel a monthly membership, it must be done 7 days prior to the start of the next session.

Can I get a refund?

o If you are unable to attend Bootcamp, we can offer you a refund provided we receive notice prior to your session start date. Cutoff time for refund is 7 days prior to your session start date. PLEASE NOTE: You will be charged a $50.00 cancellation fee. It may take up to 5 business days to process a refund. o If we are notified after this point there will be NO refunds issued. This is due to the fact that you had reserved a spot in the class that we can no longer fill once the session has started.

CHANGES TO BOOTCAMP SCHEDULE

Is there a minimum number required to hold the class??

We require a minimum of ?? bootcampers to run the class. On the rare occasion that the minimum requirement is not met by noon on the Friday prior to the session start date, we may have to cancel that class. Should this occur, every effort will be made to accommodate the registrants in another timeslot or location. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be made, a refund will be promptly issued.

What happens if Bootcamp falls on a holiday?

In the event that one of your regularly scheduled classes falls on a statutory holiday, the class will not be held on that date. An alternate make up date will be arranged prior to the start of the session, of which you will be notified of via email. The general rule is that it will happen on the day adjacent to the holiday.

Do you ever have to change locations? ?

On rare occasions, due to circumstance beyond our control, we may have to change the location of your session with very little notice (garbage strike, structural damage, permit conflicts, etc…) We will do everything in our power to find an alternate location in close proximity to the original location and notification will be made via email and phone notifications. We will not issue any refunds based on location changes within 5km.
